Craniosacral / Somatic Unwinding sessions in water
A fusion of my last 30 years in Somatic Therapies has birthed a beautiful new offering.
This process has been unfolding over the last year as I navigated some really big changes and transitions. An international move Home to New Zealand after 33 years of living overseas seas and a relationship break up just after this.
This year has been about embracing the uncertainty and discovering who I am now and what has stayed…
For years I have dreamt of soaking in the warm hot natural pools of home, I even used to use the imagery in Meditations I would lead my classes through in Tasmania.
Since being home I have made the most of Being near natural hot pools, they have played a significant part in my Healing and as a teacher for the next natural progression of my work.
During my time in the pool I found an organic unwinding process coming through. The Cranial Rhythm has been revealing itself in the most interesting of ways and there has been a surrender that allows for things to happen in the unwinding process that doesnt happen on land.
It was through my explorations and healing that this offering was born.
How does a session look?
We have an initial phone call consultation free of charge.
Then we as book a session in warm Thermal waters
We meet at the pool and enter into the process.
I also like to have a follow up check in call as a part of your session a few days later.
Depending on what your journey is and what we are working with, you may need a number of sessions in which case we determine a payment plan and a cost that works for us both.

What is somatic healing?
Somatic healing is a holistic approach that focuses on the connection between the mind and body. Somatic Practices support the Nervous System in completing unresolved stress or trauma responses that may have been interrupted and not fully resolved at the time. Creating a deep sense of safety is one of the most important elements of Somatic work, hence much time is spent on building trust again. it is a multilayered relational process that grows over time and consistency.
How can I benefit from breathwork?
Breathwork has many benefits and outcomes depending on the style of breathwork you choose to do.
Conscious connected breathwork is a therapeutic somatic practice that uses continuous rhythmic breathing to support deep emotional release, nervous system regulation & altered states of consciousness and promotes healing, and a deeper reconnection with Self.
Pranayamic style breathwork is a conscious breathing practice rooted in the Yogic tradition of Pranayama, which means “to extend or regulate the life force”. This style emphasizes slow, intentional and rhythmic breathing often incorporating a longer pause to create specific effects.
Prana = life force Yama = ethical guidelines or moral restraints in Yogic philosophy. Prana is the energy that sustains life, Yama guides how we live our life ethically and mindfully to keep that energy flowing healthily and peacefully.
What types of yoga do you offer?
I offer yin yoga focusing on inner stillness, deep rest & restoration. I offer Chair Yoga focusing on connection, community, mobility, balance, flexibility and strength for all levels. Gentle Somatic Yoga is a slow mindful movement practice that invites you to move and experience your practice from the inside out. In slowing down enough to really connect with sensations arising in the body, respond consciously and move with awareness, through this practice we release deep holding patterns and tensions, in the process repattern neuromuscular pathways aiding greater ease and flow in movement and stillness.
Somatic Slow Flow is a very intuitive felt sense style of Yogic movement and enquiry, the aim is not to lengthen, the aim is to connect and release through connection.
What is the purpose of community workshops?
Community workshops aim to foster connection, support personal transformation, and create a safe space for sharing experiences and healing together. To feel the power of being around like-minded others doing the inner work too.
Music Events are to come together and celebrate the Love of Music and organic artistry. To encourage collaboration and Co creation, to support and Inspire each other.
